Fans say that Mail Order Miracle combines the funky groove of Sublime and 311, the powerful Grunge sound of Stone Temple Pilots and Soundgarden , and the unexpected musical style of Primus, Incubus and Pink Floyd, all in a fresh and totally unique way. .. .. Mail Order Miracle formed in 2007 in Brookville, Indiana and have been a relentless machine on the local music circuit in hopes of obtaining the attention of a larger audience. The group has recently released their first CD with all original material, their "Self Titled EP", which features a fiery mix of Funk, Hard Rock, and Grunge served up with an unexpected experimental twist. .. .. In December of 2008, Mail Order Miracle stormed the studio to begin work on their first release, later to be dubbed the self titled EP. When asked about the inspiration for this CD Brandon said, "This album discusses everyday topics of compassion and karma that anyone can easily relate to in some way. Whether you are just trying to get on with your day to day routine after while life is trying to beat you down, or you are trying to figure out whats going on in this world in the realm of Religion and Politics, there is something on that CD for you; It's all up to the listener." .. .. While seeming like straight forward statements, it's very easy to distinguish Mail Order Miracle's questions for authority and struggles with religion as heard on tracks like "Allegiance" and "To Whom it May Concern". After listening, you may find yourself asking these questions. .. .. The self-titled EP was officially released in 2009. When asked about plans for the future they said, " We are just ready to move forward with a more sophisticated and branding sound, we want people to know who they are listening to without having to glance at the CD case". .. .. Currently the band is playing the Tri-State Area and writing new material for their upcoming full length album release. "The addition of Chris Haas to the drums for us has been a real relief to all the work we have been doing for the past 3 years, everything has just kind of come together and clicked like we have always wanted it to," said the group. .. ..
