........ .. .. .. We are MAiNdRAYN. .. That means that Gladys Mainard, Daniel Kinzie, Jesse Benson, Ryan Wallace, and Jesse Squire, are an experimental art punk band from Oklahoma. If I (and this is Ryan, by the way) were to describe us to you, I*d tell you that we*re more of a family, than an actual band. We all grew up together, in Glenpool. It*s a rather small quasi-suburb of a rather small quasi-city called Tulsa. Out here you don*t have much, but your imagination, and the school systems, and churches, and drug dealers wait in the shadows, lurking, meandering like zombies until you come into their orbit, and then they just try their hardest to suck your imagination out like brains, delicious brains..... So, the music. Yeah, it kind of switches, up a lot. We try to bring in as many different kinds of music, and make our statement, by any means necessary. Sometimes it*s pretty intense. Other times, it*s just kind of pretty. Either way, you can always expect good, heart felt expressions of real human feelings. Our lives, and our imaginations fuel us, and that*s more than enough inspirado, to write a million records. It is very important to us that you know, we are sincere and that we have no ulterior motives here. We*ve been together since we were kids, and it*s been a while since we took this for granted enough to waste our time and your time, by making meaningless, empty bullshit. Besides, there are plenty of other bands that excel at that..... We just want to make our art on our terms, we*re not looking for shit tons of money, or a huge contract. We really only need help with the distribution and soon we may not need any help from anyone. So please don*t approach the band like we*re suckers, or it could be you who gets fucked over... .. .. ........ .. .. .. .. ......***If you know us at all, you know that we are poor bastards who barely have enough money to fill our golden Range Rovers* gas tanks. So we know what it*s like to just go get the music for free. So it*s fine with us if you share or post, or duplicate and bootleg, pirate, whatever. If you want a song but can*t find it for free, let us know. We*ll do our best to get you any of our songs for free. I*m not sure what kind of guy would be the kind of dick-face that would deny you free access to their music, maybe you just shouldn*t listen to people like that ... ..
