About me:
The Main Event (a.k.a. Main Event Radio) is a professional wrestling talk show that is currently in it's sixth year of broadcasting airing on CJLO 1690AM in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Originally called Ringside Radio, the show was created by Ryan Rider and debuted on February 1, 2004.The Main Event can be heard live every Sunday morning, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM EST on 1690am in Montreal, and around the world on MainEventRadio.com.
The Main Event is home to Quebec's largest wrestling fan base and an ever growing fan base from around the world, And our main goal has always been to foster an alternative method of allowing the fans of the WWE, TNA, Indy, and International wrestling products to be entertained and hear all the latest news and happenings in the business.
Aside from the radio show, the Main Event is involved in other endeavours. We publish a syndicated wrestling review column,as well as numerous other wrestling columns. We also formerly produced an information hotline on all of the latest news, gossip, and updates in the wrestling community which was owned by the television station CFCF-12 called "Contact 12" from November 14, 2002, until late 2006.
The Main Event also gives back to the community, having donated money to several charities in the past year including the Heart and Stroke Foundation and sponsoring a child infected with AIDs for the World Vision foundation.

Michael Cole does NOT suck! He's done a damn good job being the voice of SmackDown for 9 years; he'll do just as good on Mondays
