Main Street Blues are an exciting Blues/ R&B band from Edinburgh, headed up with Derek Smith on lead vocals and guitar, bringing together a powerful mix of up tempo Blues, R&B, Funk and Jazz influences, performing a wide range of classic and original material.
Main Street Blues play many of the music venues in and around Scotland and are steadily gaining a reputation as a quality band on the Blues circuit, Corporate market and have successfully headlined concerts at both Pitlochry Festival Theatre and Edinburgh Brunton Theatre in 2008.
Main Street Blues have supported a number of notable artists, such as Tam White and Lights out by Nine and there are a number of repeat dates being planned over the coming months for 2009.
Main Street Blues have a wide repertoire of material to cover all events such as private functions, corporate events, festivals and theatres. They are a great live band which shouldn't be missed.
