Main Street Blues are an exciting Blues band from Edinburgh that brings together a powerful mix of up tempo Blues with a great mix of R&B/Funk/Jazz influences.
Main Street Blues are headed up with Derek Smith on lead guitar and vocals with a solid back line of musicians to perfom a great range of the blues classics.
Main Street Blues can be seen at many of the music venues in and around Scotland and they have a growing reputation as a quality band on the Blues circuit with notable repeat concerts at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Darvel Music Festival, Mussleburgh Brunton Theatre, Renfrew Ferry as well as many of the Jazz n Blues festivals in and around Scotland.
The band have supporting a number of notable artists in the past, including the great Scottish Blues man.... "Tam White" and the superb fife band "Lights Out by Nine"
