"With natural born talent and a mature work ethic, Maizee demonstrates a desire and attitude to make big waves in the entertainment industry. The Clearwater based Singer/Songwriter/Actress, who's been performing since she was 5 years old, has surpassed more than a few expectations regarding her age and abilities as a young artist. Maizee recently completed a four-song recording project with NuSoul Productions, who were drawn to Maizee's talents through a local talent search where they sat in as judges. When they got together for the song writing sessions, the chemistry was sizzling "HOT!", and when they hit the studio to record, things simply caught on fire. NuSoul Productions, who have garnered platinum and gold records working with The Backstreet Boys, Pink, Nick Carter, Aaron Carter, Willa Ford and others said, "Maizee is a definite STAR in the making!"
Maizee's original sound is filled with extremely catchy hooks and melodies, and is described by listeners as youthful and fun, yet deep and heartfelt. She credits female rock legends like Stevie Nicks, Pat Benatar and Heart as major influences as she honed her musical gifts. She also gives credit to the "King of Rock n Roll" - Elvis, for inspiring her to reach out to an audience that may not be quite ready for a young female pop/rocker.
An artist who rocks out to her own drummer, Maizee is not concerned about mimicking what she hears on the radio. She is quite at ease setting her own pace and knocking out her own niche in the entertainment world. The result is a refreshing dose of COOLNESS!"
