Kenny Legendre kam vor ziemlich genau 30 Jahren aus den USA in das schöne Naheland, wo die Liebe ihn Wurzeln schlagen liess. Er hat sich regional in verschiedenen Coverbands als Gitarrist und Sänger einen Namen erarbeitet, und „nebenbei“ eine Zeitlang Karriere als Manager für eine globale Automobilfirma gemacht. - Kenny's Repertoire als "Majiken" besteht aus Pop-, Rock- und Folkklassikern von den 60ern bis heute, irgendwo zwischen Cat Stevens, Paul Simon und David LaMotte. Er möchte Dich treffen, da wo Musik Körper und Seele berührt und in Bewegung setzt, wo Botschaft und Groove gleichberechtigt eine launische Koexistenz führen. Komm mit! - Kenny's elektrischer alter ego heisst "Praxis Gelender" und beinhaltet 4 Facetten: 1. Band-Mitgliedschaft (Oldies-Band "55") bzw. Unterstützung auf Gitarre, Bass und Gesang 2. Live-Abmischung von Solo-Künstler und Bands (u.a. Biber Hermann, Werner Lämmerhirt, David LaMotte, Mundy, Knopf, Alex Schmeisser, Sarah Kaiser Band, United Voices of Praise u.v.m.) 3. Anlagenverleih in kleinen Rahmen (meistens in Kombination mit 2.) und 4. Tonaufnahmen, z.B. die CD "Verstrahlt" von Knopf. Also, wenn musikalische Hilfe benötigt wird, ruf an- ich bin gern zur Stelle!
Kenny Legendre came from the US to southwest Germany almost exactly 30 years ago, where love caused him to grow roots. He made a name for himself regionally as a singer and guitarist in various cover bands, simultaneously building a career as a manager for a global automobile manufacturer. - Kenny's repertoire as "Majiken" consists of pop, rock and folk classics from the 60s through today, nestled somewhere in between Yusuf/Cat Stevens, Paul Simon and David LaMotte. Majiken wants to meet you there- where musik touches the body and soul, setting both in motion; where Message and Groove unite in a capricious coexistence. Come along! - Kenny's electric alter ego is "Praxis Gelender," and is facetted 4 ways: 1. band membership (such as the oldies band "55") or support on guitar, bass and vocals 2. live sound for solo artists and bands (references include Biber Hermann, Werner Lämmerhirt, David LaMotte, Mundy, Knopf, Alex Schmeisser, Sarah Kaiser Band, United Voices of Praise and many others) 3. equipment rental, generally in combination with the previous facet, and 4. recording, for example the original tracks for the Knopf CD "Verstrahlt." Das Konzert in Schliersee am Samstag war klasse, alle beteiligten Musiker haben sich richtig ins Zeug gelegt - und die Presse war auch gut!! Wir sind mit vielen positiven Eindrücken wieder zurück nach Osnabrück gekommen.
Die Kanufahrt gestern war sehr schön! Könnte ich nächstes Wochenende sofort wieder machen. Aber da sind wir ja bei Helmut Jenne in Schliersee, um am Gemeinschaftskonzert deutschsprachiger Liedermacher teil zu nehmen. Am Freitag fahren wir schon los - das wird eine schöne lange Fahrt werden...
