Majik born Alvin Meek IV. is me. I am going to tell you everything you need to know, weather your a fan, a A&R of a record label or just someone gathering my story. I am from the southside of Columbus Ohio and I currently reside on the Eastside of Columbus. I have been spitting rhymes since the age of nine and I have always wanted to pursue a sold-out show selling rap career. If i could have it my way, I would be singed to a major label right now but thats beside the point. Me and my team (Y.H.C) are a collective young group of starving artist that put forth an effort to let the world hear our music and for them to hopefully appreciate the movement. I am 17 years and I attend regular highschool and live a pretty normal life. The only thing that has changed is everyone calls me Majik now. (My stage name) The name Majik, came in my Freshman year at Groveport Madison H.s. after freestyling aginst classmates in lunch. People said I ripped the competition into pieces. Claiming,"The words he spits are like magic."
My influences are: jay Z, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, T.I. and CTE Label owner Young Jeezy. I believe their styles are untouchable. One day I want to sell out Madsion square garden like most of these rapprs. I also would love to collab with canadian artist Drake in the near future.
I am in the process of many clashes wit alot of upcoming artist. My musiq is as quoted " A work of art unlike any the industry has yet to hear"
At the end of the day, i do what matters to me most, striving to be the best, trying to find the right label home, and making my fans happy! I am working on My Collabo mixtape wit artist Yung-C under Y.H.C -ent entitled "Lights Out" (Kings of the internet) set to release in July. I am also working on my solo mixtape set to bring me on the rap scene as competetion to the Midwest. Entitled Welcome to Gothem City. This will be a Street Cinemas Mixtape under Y.H.C -ent. aswell.
