Coming from a town of pride and misconception, the Major League Boyz are sole believers in F.G.M music. F.G.M. stands for Feel Good Music. The idea behind every song they write. FGM is also a set of drum beats, keys, and the creative minds of those wanting to make music over it. Emerging from the towns of Waukegan and Zion (small cities outside of Chicago), the Major League Boyz are determined to make there mark in the music industry. With there up-tempo beats and raspy choruses, the Major League Boyz pride their selves on making the choruses the sole and major focus of all their song ideas. The three members consist of Jared Black, Datt Mann, and Big Game. They have been fans of music ever since they were able to hear and understand the words to any given song.
Believing that music is a breakthrough for minorities to express what they feel, and a chance for them to be seen and heard, MLB quickly accepted the challenge of becoming a group and taking on any challenges of the music industries. Instead of just saying or making excuses MLB seized the opportunity to shine with a unique style to captivate any audience. Expressed in songs like ..ILLINOIZ.. ..Get Loose.. & ..Ice Creams.., the Major League Boyz are just trying to show the world their ups, downs, and emotions that are being put into every song and every situation of their music. With radio plays on stations like 88.9 F.M. SPIN CLUB RADIO and Hot City Radio, the group is on there way to what they call ..SLOUCH.., or feeling good, relaxed and having fun doing whatever it is you do. ..If your thing is painting, when you paint that..s being slouched, if its poetry that..s slouched, whatever it is you do and it makes you feel good, that..s being slouched.., said MLB. From the Ice Creams on their feet, to the lyrics content in their music their whole swagger is based on being SLOUCHED.
Everything said their music presents in pure reality form. Everything they talk about has happened or is about to happen at that very moment. Once there music is no longer fun, but forced, the group believes that there hits are being adopted not born. Creativity is then being replaced for time limits and pressure. This is why the group believes in being Slouched and creative with whatever they present to their audience. Riding on the distribution deals and record deals being negotiated at this very moment, the group believes there is plenty of space and opportunities to be heard. As of now, DA LEAGUE is looked at as much more than a group but a management team, production company, and a Entertainment company. With their mouths shut and their SLOUCHED attitudes, the Major League Boyz will announce who they will be signing with and what record company will be their home for making music in the future. .. "Later this year we will say who we are signing with and who we are speaking to specifically, and what kind of deal we have, but for now I guess everyone just has to sit back and just wait for that announcement".
