That comes not out of thinking that I am the only Kirk that matters, but because "The Kirk" was on a sign outside my window a while ago.
Obviously, there are many other Kirks much more deserving of praise that I. The primary one being Kirk McLean, former goalie for the Vancouver Canucks. I think that it's well known he was the best goalie to ever grace the ice. What little kid doesn't think, "I want to be the next Kirk McLean?"

Ahhh the Kirk, you lovely crooner! Yeah you can get it on CD Baby... should be in Ditch records after we go there and ask for consignment CD's when we come and visit. I think the first bit of September. We might do a quiet show if we can find any quiet venues (it's a vacation and the band is staying behind...) any suggestions? We'll do a beers when we visit hopefully. I'll let you know when we plan on being there!
Szia Kirk! I am relaxing - finally! - out in the Hungarian countryside and spending my last two days here to their fullest. Sunning myself. Watching the sky as the sun sets and the stars come out. Enjoying the swallows in the garden. Contemplating the vastness of the universe as Orion glides across the horizon. And trying so darn hard to figure out the relation of the moon to the earth and sun when it goes through its phases! How is Victoria? I picture you bicycling around the Victoria Hotel because that's the only place that I have been to in that city. So you are gleefully going round and round the ivy strewn building going "weeee!"
We're out in Victoria town hopefully in the first 2 weeks of July. I'll fer sure get back to you about a fer sure date... fer sure... eh... We're out there alot we'll hook up for beers-a-haul sometime!
Soon I will be in thy presence, listening to your great songs "in the flesh", during which we will both be sampling fine amounts of fermented beverages!
Next Friday man...you better be available or I'll whoop your ass. Or at least cry...and curse your ass!
