From 'Mr Lololova' back in 1999 to Makadem 'Ohanglaman' today - his journey has been that of soul searching and exploration of sounds; from hiphop fun party songs to the more serious sounds of Afro fusion, in this case being a mixture of Luo traditional ohangla drums, nyatiti beats intertwined with other African and Western rhythms resulting in the unique CD Ohangla Man.
Makadem's career began as a young solo performer playing mostly in Kenya's beach hotels. His music is humorous and witty, yet culturally oriented and powerfully tackles social and economic issues that affect people of all walks of life and that is the reason why all age groups always find something to relate to and identify with his songs.
So far, Makadem has had opportunities to interact with and curtain-raise for renowned musicians including Maxi Priest, Awilo Longomba, Lokua Kanza, Gregory Isaacs, and Glen Washington amongst others.
Currently I have finished recording my twelve track album Ohanglaman on this album I have changed my style of music from a raga to an African music popularly referred to as Anglo-Ohangla which is a fusion of Ohangla, Nyatiti, and Dodo -traditional Luo (western Kenya, Lake Victoria region tribe) styles of Music, with other modern African beats with heavily accented Luo-English Vocals.

Big up for this add! Tremendous achievement- fullest respect. [Once I combed a african girl's hair from dreads back to freeflow, took 3 weeks, left like 30% of length but- she wanted it loose again. I used a Porcupine quill. ] Best affection Makadem in this virtual world, A
