Books
Perhaps my greatest flaw, aside from being a bit of an asshole, is that I don't read fast enough. It is at least the one that infuriates me most. especially as I buy so many books with interest and good intention.
The following are book that spring to mind as ones that I have particularly enjoyed.
Catch 22, Joseph Heller Atomized, Michel Houellebecq One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Ken Kesey Red Dragon, Thomas Harris 1984, George Orwell Letters From A Nut, Ted L. Nancy
I have recently finished American Psycho, but enjoy isn't really the word for how you engage with that book is it. It starts off jovial enough albeit very black humour and spirals down into serialized bleakness, like getting kicked in the stomach. Unarguably a very sophisticated piece of writing though.
I am currently persisting with The Name Of The Rose, which due to my lack of fluency in latin I am finding occasionally infuriating. Not sure what's next, I have a big stack to choose from.
Who I'd like to meet: Hmmm, I'm a little misanthropic so that's a tricky question. Pleasant folk would be the simplest answer. But who wants to talk to simpletons? And nice people can be so dull. A conundrum indeed.
A better question would be "Where can I find information on unsung heroes of experimental music Lustfaust?"
