MAKE GOOD YOUR ESCAPE are a rock band based in Brighton, England.
But we're originally from Chichester.
We have a bunch of records out and we're always on tour cos we love it..
Apparently, this is what happens when we play live...
"What do you want from a band? Passion? Tons of it. Singer Mike is throwing his heart into every word like his life depends on it. Tunes? Every one a stormer. Think early teenage U2 fire, Chameleons soaring, echoes of 25 years ago, yeah, but shot through with 21st century spirit. Even a bit of Secret Machines power in there too. Energy? They're playing like they're in some rock'n'roll version of "Speed". And talent. Mike can swoop to a Smithsian falsetto and back in seconds. The guitars soar and dive. But most remarkable of all is drummer Steve. Crashing strength, complex fills, relentless pace, fuck, I'm no expert but this lad is extraordinary. When they finish I want to shake their hands."

We're pleased with the fact that our music exists outside of the popular mould because we're in it for the long run.
"A truly talented band that provide hope for people who are bored with today’s largely stagnant, bland and spineless music scene, void of quality musicians like Make Good Your Escape."
Sandman Magazine
I just thought that I would add this as well; you guys know some bands are together for a lot longer than 3 years before they get somewhere.
I don't know which one of you is reading this and I certainly know that what I say makes know difference as you are already split. Good luck lads, you all have special talent that should be used.
new song: good scheisa. What's this about last shows and songs? Every time I go to look at a bulletin, I get those myspace errors. Hope it's not what I think, you guys rule, keep making more music please!! Thanks for all the music guys, keep rockin'!
"It's my belief that history is a wheel. 'Inconstancy is my very essence,' says the wheel. Rise up on my spokes if you like but don't complain when you're cast back down into the depths. Good time pass away, but then so do the bad. Mutability is our tragedy, but it's also our hope. The worst of time, like the best, are always passing away."
Hey MGYE friends of kellymental! long time no myspace. how's things?
Dunno if you've been following our progress on Channel 4, but to get a shot at a £1 million record deal we need to be in the top 4 fan numbers - but at the moment we are lagging behind a bit at 7!
Could you please sign up as our fan?
Goan it only takes a second and then we'll love you lots...
Sorry to hear that it is all over. I played your music here in south africa, they loved it and thought that you guys were going to be the next big thing to come out of the U.K. All the best for the future. I will never forget meeting you guys and shooting a music video with you guys.
You were one of Britain's best. Good luck for all your individual futures. Awesome band and lovely fellahs, the lot of you. Those fuck face record labels are clueless cunts.
