MAKE GOOD YOUR ESCAPE are a rock band based in Brighton, England.
But we're originally from Chichester.
We have a bunch of records out and we're always on tour cos we love it..
Apparently, this is what happens when we play live...
"What do you want from a band? Passion? Tons of it. Singer Mike is throwing his heart into every word like his life depends on it. Tunes? Every one a stormer. Think early teenage U2 fire, Chameleons soaring, echoes of 25 years ago, yeah, but shot through with 21st century spirit. Even a bit of Secret Machines power in there too. Energy? They're playing like they're in some rock'n'roll version of "Speed". And talent. Mike can swoop to a Smithsian falsetto and back in seconds. The guitars soar and dive. But most remarkable of all is drummer Steve. Crashing strength, complex fills, relentless pace, fuck, I'm no expert but this lad is extraordinary. When they finish I want to shake their hands."

We're pleased with the fact that our music exists outside of the popular mould because we're in it for the long run.
"A truly talented band that provide hope for people who are bored with today’s largely stagnant, bland and spineless music scene, void of quality musicians like Make Good Your Escape."
Sandman Magazine
Is it you guys who have a song which the lyrics are something like 'and it's time to jump out of our skin and we'll never look back here again, cause it's time to jump out of our skin...' Or something like that. Just wondering cause i thought it maybe was you and i'm sure i had the song and i don't, well i think it may have been one of the ones i accidently deleted. Anyway it's stuck in my head and i was wondering if it was you, if it isn't nevermind, i still love your music, but i love that song and wanted to hear it again.
Just popping by to tell you guys to rock on! Is "Fields" an unreleased track? Sounds good so far. Still my favorite song has to be "Forget." Stay up guys.
its been a long while....... as most of you know after EMS died we moved on to another project Maura Kincaid.
Everything has been great and now we have the chance to play at Glastonbury 09.
But like most things in music there is a catch. For us to play we need people to vote for us. so find it in your hearts to take a few moments and cast your votes.
Hi chaps Big shame mgye are nomore, was hoping to go to your page to find that you may have reformed, we really enjoyed playing with you at the pressure point last year, you have amazing tunes. pete x THE RECOIL
i have known about you guys for a good while now, your music is a hell of alot better than anything i have heard for a long time, i would go as far as saying you were the best modern band for the last decade for me at any rate....anyway i hope you guys someday get back together, a far fetched idea i know but yeah cheers for your music
Most amazing sound I've heard in ages. MGYE will Live on forever with all your fans, i know it will live on with me. I hope that you'll make a return to the stage in which you would be recognized by many. Best of Luck :D
Yeah I wish there were more as well!!!!! I found out about yourmusic from Burnout Paradise; what a find! After listening to more of it, I was heartbroken to find that you guys broke up. That's the thing about the music industry though, so many great bands don't get where bands of lesser talent do. It's nice to see that you commented back as well. I don't really know what else to say lads, but good luck with your individual pursuits! p.s. I wish I saw you live..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just thought that I would add this as well; you guys know some bands are together for a lot longer than 3 years before they get somewhere.
I don't know which one of you is reading this and I certainly know that what I say makes know difference as you are already split. Good luck lads, you all have special talent that should be used.
