Makeida was born to a
Greek mother and Nigerian father in London, England on October 16th 1986
and was raised along with her eleven brothers and sisters in East London.
Born Makeida Ezekiel, she was named after the ancient African Queen of
Sheba who was called Makeida.
Makeida's debut album entitled "New Day" was released under her label,
Musichild Entertainment in June 2006. It features the international top selling
singles "Strong Brother" which is a remake of the 'Lean wit it' track by the
Franchiz boyz.
Makeida has performed alongside some of the music industry's leading
artists including; T.I, Ludicrous, Young Jeezy, Jodeci, Sisqo, H- TOWN, Dru
Hill, Paul Wall, Terri Walker and many others.
Makeida has also performed in large events/venues like Sweet Aurban
Springfest (Atlanta, USA), Glastonbury, Burgess Park, Notting Hill Carnival,
Royal Festival Hall, the Hip Hop Summit Tour (Atlanta, GA) and in various
countries from the UK, Europe and America.
Makeida has also provided professional backing vocals for Groove Armada,
West Life, London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC), Shola Ama, and many
other high quality artists.
Today Makeida continues to rise from the underground rapidly with over
7,688,000 profile views on MySpace and an email membership list that spans
52,326, Makeida is quickly moving into the mainstream music industry.
Makeida recently had a feature in Billboard Magazine (USA) and Rolling out
Magazine (USA).
Makeida's hot new single "He Got It" received a staggering 400,000 plays in
the first two weeks of launch!
Today, Makeida's popularity is souring rapidly and as a result Makeida can
often be found performing three gigs a night and or on being interviewed for
popular magazines, newspapers and radio stations.

From the new year the smoking area will be increased in size and a new exit and entry system to and from the smoking area will be in place. This will eliminate any issues getting in and out of the smoking area.
Additional seating areas will also be provided from the new year.
All Warnings will now be running until 6am (10pm to 6am) - this includes this event which will mean Andy C's set will now be extended to finish at 6am NOT 5am.
