I went to a typical cats show a while back…it was my first hip hop show and I was acting like a pretty stupid girl…you prob don’t remember me…but you were there spinning. It was at reggies. Anyway, Im trying to set up a mini affordable nice sounding recording set up. I like to rhyme and am trying to mess with my sound. Do you have any advice as far as devices or programs that I should purchase? I need a mic and good speakers. How do DJ’s choose who they collaborate with? I have no stage experience..very small audience experience to be honest. I just get weird with music all day long. Looking to come out of my shell…any advice would be oh so appreciated. Also do you know of any open mic hip hop places in the chi? Its really hard to be a skinny white chic that likes to spit shit. Much respect, you are one of my favorites. (I originally tried to send this as a message, but the font was stuck on white...sorry peoples)
