Beauty Review: Nice & Easy Color Blend Foam

After reading a favorable review on Megsmakeup.com about Nice and Easy's new Color Blend Foam I just had to try it out for myself. Well, this wasn't as easy as I thought it would be since almost every store in my area was out of my color (#4 Dark Brown) but I finally found some over the weekend and was in a tizzy to get it on my head by the time I got home. I mostly dye my hair for gray coverage, the women in my family go gray pretty early and I am proving to be no exception.  Ladies, this is one of the easiest home hair colors I have ever used!

The instructions claim that you can simply apply the color as you would a shampoo so that's how I applied it even though I was really doubting the coverage by applying it this way. The formula is mixed like a traditional hair color and you get the foaming action from a pink, pump like lid instead of the traditional nozzle. That part tripped me up a bit is that you have to keep the bottle upright and squeeze the color out instead of just dumping it on my head like I used too. Other than getting used to a new technique in application, it's the same process as traditional color.

My fears were unfounded though. This fantastic, no drip formula stayed in place, coated every strand and the cleanup was an absolute breeze. I usually make a huge mess when home coloring and this was the first time I didn't stain the floor, the towels, the toilet, etc. My gray's are obliterated and my hair is now a beautiful shade of chocolate brown. In all I give this hair color my highest praise and will be using again in about six to eight weeks. Maybe I should stock up now...

This is super helpful Melissa! I have premature gray as well and it's usually such a royal pain to cover. Time for me to seek this out. Thanks!
