About me: Marlene G. is a professional makeup artist with over 20 years of experience. With her tremendous talent and outgoing personality she is consistently booked for beauty commercials, print campaigns, and red carpet events. She also contributes her artistic skill to cutting edge editorials, runways, and fashion advertising.
In addition to being an exceptional makeup artist she is also a certified instructor, licensed esthetician, and a certified image consultant. In 2007 she co-founded and launched Naked Mineral Cosmetics, a new line of mineral make-up for all skin tones, and is the official makeup artist for Long Beach Magazine.
She has experience in all aspects of entertainment: as a retired plus size model formerly represented by Ford LA, a fashion show and event producer, pageant director, motivational speaker, and beauty expert. She brings much more knowledge to the table than your typical makeup artist.
Marlene also loves devoting her time to charitable organizations whenever possible. Through her company Makeover Galley International she is the official makeup team for Divabetics and Hollywood NOW’s Love Your Body Day. Though she is in the business of beauty she is passionate about showing women that real beauty comes from within.
