In the late 70’s and early 80’s, graffiti moved from the gritty train yard to posh galleries of New York, Los Angeles and Europe. A handfull of artists were involved in this movement : SEEN was one of them. At this time, the art world was looking for a change and many people questionned what would come next. Some thought graffiti would be the answer…
Since then, the value of canvases produced by graffiti artists began to rise to prices only few could afford.
Today, SEEN decides to put things back into context by making artwork available for everybody, at reachable prices. Returns to the roots of graffiti, only the medium has changed.
