Saltar Hype Entertainment is a booking and artist management company, and has been involved in the industry for 3 years booking National and International shows for many artists, some of which have gone on to perform at festivals such as the Big Day Out, Falls, and Pyramid Rock among many others. Saltar Hype is heavily involved in supporting local talent and discovering new artists across a range of genres, and has helped create what is a thriving scene.
The aim of the showcase is for Saltar Hype to check out potential new acts for the many shows we book throughout the year. Bands that show they have some following and are able to deliver a good show will be strongly considered for upcoming Saltar Hype events. In the mid-year we will also be running a 'best of' night, which will feature acts chosen by Saltar Hype management. The night will be headlined by one of our artists, which you can check out at www.myspace.com/saltarhype.
This is an opportunity to play one of Melbourne's finest venues, and be seen by our management as well as venue booking agent Cal Reynolds, opening opportunities for shows and supports. It is also an opportunity to network and create future shows. Saltar Hype will use this night to seek out new talent, as well as a possible slot on next years Rock the Bay Festival and other events.
