Maki Nagayama(Vocal / Compose)
Born in Febrary, 2nd in Tokyo.
Influenced from father(Jazz guitarist) and grandmother(japanese traditional singer),
communed with piano, clarinet, etc in childhood, and feel many kinds of music.
When studying at "Nihon University" Fine Arts major, organized a large group band, "Modern Conya",
and released 3 albums and in charge of lyrics and composing.
One of the music has used for the commercial song of the clothing brand "united arrows",
opening theme of the TV show, and also 8 weeks NO.1 and NO.2 in Japan at the
indies music chart of HMV Shibuya.
Japanese universal nuance of the words andFor the exquisite sense of balance that a nostalgic melody blends wonderfully,
named as "Japanese new era diva".
Especially, the original lyrical world has been rewarded as a high performance work, and released a solo album in October, 2006.
As recent works, being in charge of making of picture book, the magazine "Fudge" as a columnist, spreading the wide range of working fields.
