高宮マキ・・・美大のデザイン科在学中に歌い始める。卒業後、渡英。音楽カレッジを卒業後、アルバイトをしていたロンドンの音楽スタジオでデモテープを作成し、これがデビューのきっかけとなる。 2002年、LAMANA RECORDSよりミニアルバム『Blue Butterfly』でインディーズデビュー。同作品は12inch盤としてヨーロッパリリースし、LONDON-JAZZ-FMでチャートインを果たす。同年、東芝EMIよりメジャーデビュー。自身の作品以外にも、久保田利伸のトリビュートアルバム「SOUL TREE」、Fantastic Plastic Machineのアルバム「too」等、意欲的に参加している。作詞・作曲のみならず、楽曲アレンジ、コーラスワーク、ジャケットやプロモーションビデオのイラストレーション・プロデュースも手掛けるなど多方面に渡る才能を発揮し、活躍の場を広げている。

現在までに、ミニアルバム１枚、フルアルバム３枚、マキシシングル１枚、シングル４枚をリリース。
