Makongo is a new group in the Portuguese music scene, 3 of the biggest names in Portuguese music came together and formed the new group called Makongo that has been causing an national and international sound earthquake with their music and energetic performances.

"SP & Wilson" one of the biggest names in Portuguese Hip Hop and R&B, release they first album called " BARULHO" which sold out in the first month all copies, and were nominated for a MTV award, for "BEST NEW SOUND OF EUROPE" they first started out as 2 beat-boxers making shows everywhere in Portugal and performing in the biggest Portuguese festivals, "SUDOESTE, SUPER BOCK SUPER ROCK, ROCK IN RIO".

With Three number one singles they controlled to Portuguese industry with endless shows opening for Pharrel Williams, 50 Cent, Mathisyau, and many more selling out concerts everywhere they went.

They later released a Re-edition of the album that also sold out in a couple of months, you cannot spell Portuguese hiphop without SP & Wilson. Wilson considered the best Portuguese beat-boxer SP the best R&B singer one of the most Influential Mcs and also one of the best Portuguese producers. Working with names like north American Rappers Afura, Rasco, French rapper Alibi Montana, and all of the main Portuguese and Afro- Portuguese names.
A mixture of Ku Duro with Hip Hop R&B, Dance Hall and many more, Makongo has been playing nonstop in the biggest Portuguese clubs and parties festivals and spreading the energetic felling of their music all around, they also have the best Afro-Portuguese dancers where they mix kuduro, break dance popping african dance tektonik and many more styles of dancing.

They also have a secret weapon their Dj, DJ KnowLedge, a very versatile Dj, which can control any dancefloor.

Makongo's Debut album " ANGOLAN KUNG FU " was released february 9th, distributed by Sony Records.

The first single was called "MAKONGO" and the second one is going to be released very soon called "KISSELENGUENHA" the video is going to be released middle of October.
