   About Makoto Kadowaki
Makoto Kadowaki is a pianist born in 1980, Tottori, Japan. He spent his teenage years playing the french horn and the piano, writing and arranging songs for a school concert band. After graduation of a local highschool, he moved to Tokyo to attend Tokyo College of Music majoring composition for industrial music. That was about when he began to perform various concerts and gigs as a pianist. Later he decided to quit the college and move to Boston for further study for jazz performance. Graduated Berklee College of Music in 2005 with performance and jazz composition majors, he performed extensively in and out of Boston and NYC until came back to Japan in 2006.

Lately he has formed his own piano trio dedicated to play mainly his original compositions, and the trio has been performing regularly in Tokyo. The first trio cd will be out in January, 2008.
