is buzzing with creativity and diversity.
It has been for a while.
Get a taste of it. NOW.
The Sesh is an Original Live Music Night,
held every Tuesday at The Linnet & Lark on Princes Ave every Tuesday.
The Sesh likes homegrown.
Three local bands play every week, with guests from further afield appearing occasionally, and it's FREE.
The Sesh has been well supported over the last five years with weekly regular attendances of 200+.
It even has it’s own official aftershow party, THE GRAPEVINE, which is held at the *NEW* CHI CHI nightclub in the city centre. FREE TRANSPORT is provided from THE SESH to THE GRAPEVINE as well as providing FREE TRANSPORT HOME to Prinny Ave.
The Sesh has good links with the BBC Raw Talent team and with various websites, labels, studios, promoters and venues.It also sponsors the Hullvibe Mp3 Chart.
The Sesh is currently booked up to 3/4 months in advance at any given time.
Any unsigned band/artist from the area wanting to play at The Sesh should contact through Myspace or by posting a demo to FAO : Mak at The Linnet 30 -32 Princes Ave, Hull HU5 3QA.
There’s Live music nights a plenty in a number of venues most nights of the week in Hull. If it’s Indie, Electronica, Hip Hop, Funk, Punk, or just good ol’ Rock’n’Roll you’re into, then they’ll be something out there for you.

2008 so far, has been a good year for music in Hull.

Many collaborations with outstanding results.
Recordings are at an all time high in the city with some great songs, EP’s, Albums and Remixes consistently being produced.
