My names Bee. I'm hopelessly addicted to the creation of electronic music. I run a project called mangadrive. You've never heard of it. Some people have the idea that it takes virtually no talent to create it and its constantly mocked by society as a non-intellegent form of music. Its fine because I mock society for being non-intellegent in general. For one example, people that denounce Mythology into storybook lore and pray to an invisible being that came from a book full of 8 headed monsters , spontanius conceptions and battles taking place within a spiritual plane that human eyes wouldnt have the capacity to render.
People view a synth as an intstrument that takes no talent to play. This is true. Every person is born with the adept knowledge of playing the Piano. After puberty, there is a period where the brain just magically understands music and ANYONE can do it!
Techno is the same thing over and over and repeative. All music is repetative to some degree because if it wasnt it would just be this blur of uncontrollable noise with no beat or rhytym and people would complain it doesnt make sense while some of the beanhead elitests would sip wine and decide what genre to place it in. This is true though. A lot Techno IS the same thing for 10 minutes, but saying all electronic music is Techno is pretty stupid in general.
People belive a computer makes all electronic music and there is no human input required. Yes you are so correct. I hit one single button with my telekenetic powers and all my music comes out perfectly mixed and mastered. I know absolutly NOTHING about musical theory, scales, and why analog and digital signals are inheritly opposite. None of this applies. EVER.
Electronic musicians are said to be unworthy of musical importance and wouldnt know about the emotion and hard work that goes into making music. This is also true because god why would anyone spend 10 years trying to develop an original sound and go into a genre that is constantly picked apart and said to be full of talentless drones, when I could have just simply played 3 bar chords on the guitar and mummbled some type of unrecognizable drunken slurs and been a legend.
Basically the point is. You are all a bunch of fucking idiots. If you have talent. You may judge what talent is. If you are a great and succesful musician, and you try to denounce the viability of electronic music then you should take all your musical equipment, light it on fire and burn with it. If you are someone that listens to music and enjoys it for the enrichment in your life, you may say you dislike or do not enjoy certain genres of music and its perfectly fine. If you have no knowledge of music outside of this, you have absoultly zero justification of even thinking something is talentless be it Electronica, Rap, anything. If you think 'LOLZ I CAN MAKE BEET ON COMPUTER AND IT GOOD AS EVERYTHING ELSE AND IT EZ AND NO TALENT', then super great jack. Aim yourself into the music industry and get signed and have fun trying to sell that shit, cause in reality..
