Being a self proclaimed visionary, I refuse to accept reality as a feeble substitute for that which I want. Having long been disappointed by the inadequacies of life and society I have abandoned all hope of salvation for the masses, choosing instead a path of selfishness. Modern society possesses little more than an overwhelming collection of problems, most are either caused or allowed to thrive by the ignorance and complacency of the masses.
This complacency, indifference and ignorance have allowed man to accumulate an abundance of problems. People would rather concern themselves with movie stars and scandals than with issues such as over population, war, famine, energy costs, etc. People will watch as a woman is murdered and do nothing, not even call the police. Remember Kitty Genovese? You probably don't. The Kitty Genovese case is an excellent example of the indifference of good men.
This is among the reasons I am the way I am. The reason I have become hardened against the suffering. I don't really care if you understand - if you don't then you are part of the problem. But if you think like I do then you may be a person I would like to meet or talk to.
I'm now retired for a variety of reasons. My working life had been varied - from minimum wage jobs to owning businesses. I've...

and a lot of other things in between.
I've been up close and personal with more human suffering and death than most police officers would see in their entire careers. I've seen the best and worst that humanity has to offer. Sometimes it seems the later is more frequent than the former.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone in the Hutchinson area that wants to participate in some WiFi experiments ranging from basic to downright crazy and ambitious! Currently I'm looking for people around the HCC campus with WiFi enabled laptops to help map coverage & throughput of access points. Also anyone in this area that might want to host an access point. If you have knowledge of Point to Point, Point to Multi-point, Mesh, or Cellular WiFi networks and want to participate, contact me.
