Malakyte are a five-piece band from Brisbane, Australia who play heavy metal music the way they believe it should sound - loud, energetic, and abrasive. The group formed in the latter months of 2010 and immediately set to work on writing material which would eventually become the gamut of their debut recording, of which work has already commenced as of March 2011. 2011 looks to be a very eventful year for Malakyte, as the band looks to follow up the release of their debut EP with several live shows in the band's hometown of Brisbane, with future prospects of taking their furious and energetic music to the world.
