About me:

MalaniKai is a 15-year veteran of radio and television and a lifelong sports enthusiast. She grew up in Troy, NY and attended one of the most prestigious prep schools in the country, The Redemption Christian Academy.
It was here she excelled both on and off the basketball court. By the time she graduated, she was a 3-time honoree of Who’s Who Among American High School Students and the Academy’s all time leading scorer, racking up more than 3400 points and scoring over 50 points on numerous occasions.
MalaniKai accepted a full basketball scholarship to Syracuse University where she studied Radio and Television Broadcasting. She eventually transferred to Saint Peter's College in Jersey City, NJ and then to Liberty University in Lychburg, VA. where she was maintained excellence on and off the court.
After an injury slowed her down, MalaniKai continued to pursue her dreams of being an on air personality. In 1995, she landed her 1st (paid) radio job as a morning show co-host in Winston Salem, NC. While working in radio, MalaniKai stayed with the game of basketball by helping train and mentor high school students.
