My album is finally finished! It is available on www.cdbaby.com/malani and itunes. It is also in stores around Alaska, check my website, www.malanimusic.com for exact locations. I'm so excited to finally be able to share the product of so much time, energy, and money with all of you. I hope you enjoy it!
Hi Everyone, Okay, so I've been trying to write this bio for some time now and I've completely given up on the impersonal third person. I grew up in Cordova, Alaska. A beautiful fishing town on the coast of Alaska that is accessible only by boat or plane. I have always loved music and started playing violin when I was 9. I have been singing as long as I can remember, but around the age of 11 I started performing with my family at folk festivals and local venues. Before long I picked up the guitar and began playing and writing songs. In highschool I played in the band Bearfoot Bluegrass, touring the country and recording an album with them. When I went to college I had a lot less time to devote to music, but I managed to find some wonderful friends to play music with when we could escape from studying. I graduated from Stanford University this last June and decided to finally take time to record my first solo album. It has been a long process, but I am really excited about how it turned out. I hope you enjoy :)
