Although he’s been a dance DJ for half of his life, Malc started writing music at 13 years old, a couple of years before he learnt to mix records. As a DJ he played a variety of sub-genres and while they are an influence, so too are classical and ambient, and he doesn’t restrict his writing by form, tempo or metre.
