General
Investigating claims pertaining to UFOs, Ghosts, and the Paranormal. I'm also putting on regular paranormal meetings in St Leonards on Sea. (See more details below) And (when I get the chance) supporting the CIS Cup Winners Hibernian Football Club as well as shouting for the Scottish football squad when they are on the telly, (more so against the English) I'm an avid reader of UFO & Paranormal books (and autobiographies) I've just moved down to Hastings in East Sussex in December and loving every bit of it.
SPI INFO
The aims of SPI are basically to, collect, research, and publish, accounts relating to most aspects of strange phenomena, and to inform the general public that there is indeed a case to be answered. SPI do not hold or express any preconceived ideas as to the nature of the events of which we research, we tend to keep an open mind, and hope that by continued research we may come up with some answers to account for what at present eludes us. The purpose of Strange Phenomena Investigations, as an organisation, is defined clearly by it's title, to Investigate strange phenomena in it's many categories. Such categories include reported hauntings, apparitions, poltergeist events, UFO sightings, and various forms of psychic events. Involvement in SPI is more than academic beyond the appeal of the subject as a study. We are drawn to it because we share the mutual opinion that the subject "Demands" Investigation and a definite 'awareness' on as wide a scale as possible that, "There Are Such Things".

(LECTURE ONE) UFOs Over Scotland.
Scottish UFO & Paranormal researcher Malcolm Robinson (now resident in Hastings) will present a visual power point presentation on his research regarding UFO sightings over Scotland.
Malcolm will show photographs which claim to show UFOs in the skies above Scotland which will both astound and bewilder you. Malcolm will also relate his numerous own personal dealings with UFOs and discuss some amazing Close encounter cases from Scotland from witnesses who claim to have seen aliens walking around, to a major UFO abduction case. It's all here in this talk.
Malcolm has assisted many of the U.K’s National and Regional newspapers in connection with stories concerning ghosts, poltergeists and UFOs, and has also been interviewed by many of the U.K’s major (and minor) radio stations regarding the above mentioned subjects. He has also appeared numerous times on British and overseas television programmes.

Hastings resident Tina Lakin has organised the Hastings Ghost Walk tour for many years and has been involved with ghost research work visiting many haunted locations. In this lecture Tina will inform the audience all about her own ghostly research work with stories that will make your spine tingle. This lecture is not for the faint hearted.
Tina is the author of the book Haunted Hastings which Contains a range of ghostly phenomena, from the haunted staircase at Hastings library in Claremont and the singing spectre of Hastings College, to the mysterious witches' footsteps in the Stag Inn and the phantom coach and horses that gallops up the High Street on dark winter's nights. Coldplay for me, are just the best band in the world right now, they really are something else. I also love the music of Kate Bush, The Beatles, Genesis and Pink Floyd. I should also mention here the music of my Scottish friend Robert Ferguson (see his My Space here account here) Robert is writing some wonderful songs some of which I feature here on this site from time to time. I'm not forgetting the Glasgow band CE IV, and and T from Surrey who also has some great tunes. Check them out. However, other than Freddie Mercury, for me, the world's best ever entertainer has got to be Al Jolson. The world's best ever female vocalist is undoubtably Karen Carpenter.

It's got to be Braveheart now isnt it ? I also love Scarface, The Day The Earth Stood Still, The War Of The Worlds (Tom Cruise version), Goodfellas, Hostel, Emmanuelle, The Time Machine, and the Jolson Story.
I'm Scared Of Non Alcoholic Beer, football club Heart of Midlothian winning the Scottish league or Scottish cup, what a nightmare that would be. I also love playing my Play Station to unwind from time to time, Max Payne 1 & 2 are just the best games ever however Call Of Duty is not far behind.

The book that I am currently reading is 'Fatima Revisited' (The Apparition phenomenon in UFOlogy, Psychology, and Science) written by Joaquim Fernandes &Paul Berenguel,(Compiled by Fernando Fernandes) This book concerns the visions by three children of the Virgin Mary above the town of Fatima Portugal back in 1917. My thanks to Joaquim Fernandes from America for sending me this book to reviw. I'll give you my views on it here in due course. Well where do you start ? I hail from Scotland and I am very proud of my Scottish roots. I moved from the town of Alloa in Central Scotland back in 1998 to Ealing West London. Lived there for a wee while and I am now living in Hastings (The old part of town) which is in East Sussex, England).
I've been interested in the strange world of UFOs and the paranormal for as long as I can remember and in 1979 I formed my own research society entitled, Strange Phenomena Investigations (SPI). SPI has a sister branch up in Scotland, SPI Scotland and that is run by a good friend of mine, Brian Allan. The aims of SPI are basically to collect, research and publish accounts relating to most aspects of strange phenomena, and to purposely endevour to try and come up with some answers to account for what at present eludes us.
Articles by me, have appeared in many of the worlds UFO and paranormal magazines. I have assisted many of the UKs National and Regional newspapers in connection with stories concerning ghosts, poltergeists and UFOs. I have also been interviewed by many of the UKs major (and minor) radio stations regarding the above mentioned subjects.
I have travelled extensively throughout the UK on research projects, and I have lectured to various clubs and societies throughout Scotland and England, and Ireland, and I am pleased to say that I have represented my country at International UFO conferences.
My television work has seen me appearing on Scottish Television, BBC Reporting Scotland News. Scottish Television news (STV), American television Sightings programme. I have also worked for Japanese television, German television (Twice, ARD and PRO 7). Mexican television. Australian television. Italian television. And I have appeared twice on the Michael Aspel show, Strange But True.
I have also appeared on Grampian television, and completed documentaries for BBC Scotland, (Cracking Stories) and the BBC 2 programmes,Strange Days and The Right To Differ. Both Lorraine Kelly and Eammon Holmes also interviewed me live (twice) at the GMTV Television studios in London in regards to a ghost case that our society had been working on. I have also appeared on the Disney Channel and LWTVs Ultimate Questions Plus the Chris Moyles Channel 5 show, and also UK Livings Loose Lips with Melinda Messenger. I have also completed a documentary for the Discovery Channel. These are but some, of the many TV shows that I have participated in over the years. An Alien, and a ghost, not necessarily in that order ! But more importantly, I'd like to meet the chap who pulled my brother's hang glider in Finland.
WHAT DO I THINK (REGARDING UFOs) ?
At this point in my life, I believe that mankind is somehow dealing with some form of 'non human' intelligence. I also believe that this intelligence has always been with us since time began, that indeed they may well have seeded us here on this planet either for some kind of experiment or something else. They (aliens call them what you will) may not nessacarily be from 'Outer Space', they may be from either 'Inner Space' (Different dimensions) or have bases under the oceans of planet Earth (as there have been countless reports of strange objects being sighted coming out and into, the oceans covering our planet). That UFOs are a reality is more than a fact of life and I belive that not only the British Government have been covering up these cases, but also many other Governments as well. UFOs are real, of that there is no question, but it is what they are, or represent, that is the question.
WHAT DO I THINK (REGARDING GHOSTS & SPIRITS) ?
For me personally, I believe in an afterlife, that each and every one of us continue to live when we have passed on, albeit in a different dimension. Again there is so much proof out there which weighs heavily in favour of an afterlife. I did not accept this view lightly, this view came after weighing up the evidence of over 25 years research. In conclusion therefore, I am firmly convinced that death is 'not' the end.
