Deep Ellum has always been the odd child in the Dallas family, the one embracing strange customs but still sitting at the dinner table. Sometimes excluded from the conversation but proudly sticking out like a sore thumb, we're not afraid to be different.
In our swap meet, you'll discover a market full of one-of-a-kind wares, strange collectables, and unique individuals that nowhere else in Dallas can give you. .

Malcolm's Back Alley Swap Meet is located on the corner of MalcolmX Blvd. and Indiana St.(north of Elm St.) in the historic art district of Deep Ellum,
Dallas, TX 75226.
We are open for business EVERY 3RD SUNDAY OF THE MONTH.

I would like to invite you to participate in Malcolm's BASM presented by the Deep Ellum Association. Malcolm's B.A.S.M. is a Deep Ellum outdoor market created to give local artists and businesses a venue to sell their wares and network with each other. Our booths are open to artists, who want to showcase their crafts such as DIY jewelry, sewn items, hemp & paper goods, silkscreening, comics, zines, etc.; as well as, vendors with books, comics, collectibles, food, vintage clothing, vintage home decorations and furniture, mid-century/retro antiques, plants, etc. Nothing is too strange for Malcolm's Back Alley Swap Meet.
