i am merely a man whom has always been a 'closet' singer all my life. when i was alone i would always start wailing and trying new things out with my voice. i did get caught a few times but they weren't the wiser. born on august the 5th 1978 and ever since then i have always been intrigued by music and its creation.

i have been making these little demos for quite some time now and have finally gotten the nerve to let them be heard. it was always my fear of being laughed at and called a joke. i am my own worst critic as i am sure all who create music are.

when i first sent a demo to a friend i have met from the net i was told "that's not really you, and i dont like people who lie to me" i was like "huh?!?!". here i had worked so very hard on something and someone is going to say "thats not you"! i honestly didn't know what to think about it!

this lead to my first ever live performance over a messenger voice system. i just had to prove it was me that was singing and not some faker(there are a lot of those out there). this also lead to me having my first real fan of my work WOW!

ever since then i have had a minor amount of confidence when recording but it grows each passing day.

these four rough demos are among the first i have ever done with the exeption of "leave me behind" i was both scared and very nervous during every recording. the more i have shared my demos, and the more unbelievable comments i get the more comfortable i feel about doing this and that i shouldn't be scared.

honestly i have no more excuses about not being good enough because i have been validated by many people that i respect and that i know wouldn't lie to me. i guess when you put yourself out there you should be ready for anything that comes your way.

i am currently recording/mixing/writing final versions of the above rough demos as well as many other songs that i have had in my head in my home studio.

it is really something to make a song a reality when it has been inside for so long. making it sound the same as inside your head is a different and more difficult situation than i thought.

i feel that for my first record i must do it all by my own hand no matter how diffucult it has been and will be. i don't want my record to sound highly produced and polished and bland! i want it to be real, raw (but not to the bone raw!)and with little reverb and echo. i have seen to many artists that i thought i respected sound great on record but really aweful live. with this record i want to make my own sound and just be real about it and not try to be all "i wanna be a superstar"! about it.

just to be able put a work out there with your own blood sweat and tears in creating it and no one else having a part in it has given me the greatest accomplished feeling i ever thought it could have.

I now realize that i must not close the door on anyone who would like to help me. I am open to any offers as long as they come from an honest place and help me to grow musically. Please feel free to message me.

i plan on releasing my record via www.malecrystalball.com but that all depends on paperwork and filing and so forth. the site is under construction currently.

i want to personally think everyone who has become a friend to me and encouraged me to keep going. your support means the world to me!!!!

i want to make sure that my release pleases all my friends so far and especially myself!!
