Miss Malediction is currently working with 'andreas gross', a electro/darkwave/gothic band from germany. She appears on their new Album "Hail to the employee" as singer and acoustic guitar player.
She herself writes music since the age of 13 and continued ever since then.
Most of them are (yet) performed accousticly.
"I never made music for other people. It was only me and I think that's what music is about. It's a part of you, something you do for yourself and something that makes you even more happy when other people like it as well. "
Miss Malediction started to play the guitar when she was 9. She knew it was something she wanted to do. Taking lessons, She realized she finds it hard to learn playing guitar from other people and started to pratice her own way. Miss Malediction started to work on songs, lyrics and little stories because she thought it might be a way to express herself, to work out issues or current things she was going through. It first was a sepcial art of thearpy.
When she had her first 'concert' at her school (only playing two songs in front of a crowd of maybe 80 people) she had no idea how people would react. How the music would reach them, or whether they were going to like it or not.
After she had seen tears running down peoples faces she knew that was something she got to do. It was one of those moments.
To make people change through music, even when it's only for like a second, touch them, make them feel better, or forget the rest. That is an undescribable feeling you won't ever forget!
Well thats great I would really like to see you guys live. Maybe one day, Right now im just trying to play catch up with my finances. But it has always been a dream of mine to see Munich.
