* The Malibu Surfing Assocation was formed in 1961 as one of California's first surfing clubs

* Today, the MSA is an all-volunteer, 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated: to the fellowship of surfing and to the stewardship of Malibu Surfrider Beach.
