At the moment, I'm searching for myself....

The soft flow of music to me has always been quite the enigma... How can a sound calm and haunt at the same time? How can one measure of music quicken my heart beat and nearly make it stop beating completely? Or how about when your playing a difficult strain of notes, and you run out of breath or your fingers cramp up but your fingers move and the ghostly breath still blows, as though your body is dead but it refuses to stop playing, to even pause is taboo. It hurts and heals my soul to pick up my instruments; my flute, my sax, and play, without music in front of me. Without worrying, 'Will I forget what I'm playing?' 'If it sounds good, will i be able to recall it?' And then you notice, as though everything in your life made sense, the music you create when your mind is entwined with that of your instrument that you are only ever playing your soul, and don't you ever think that you've forgotten your soul...
