About Mali Woods

After the independent release of her first album Mali Woods accepted a unique partnership with AMG's former DJ Moe Doe. Together they have established a digital multi media company called U-neon based in Los Angeles. The concept piqued my interest because the founders seemed to have something in mind beside the usual "buy my CD" pitch. Their "mission" to focus on spiritual and enviromental concerns as well as entertainment is a refreshing change in today's "15 minutes of fame" world. Both have different stories but share the same creative vision when it comes to Mali's music and their company. Her second album is said to drop summer 09.
