MALLEFICARUM
In 1486 two Dominican monks Heinrich Kramer and Jacobus Sprenger wrote the Malleus Malleficarum (The Hammer against Witches), the most famous of all the books about witchcraft.
It described all the powers and practices of witches, their relationship with the devil, their discovery…It was the instruction manual used in the Spanish Inquisition and the justification for the crusade against witchcraft.
From the moment of its publication and for the next three centuries, it was the Inquisition’s weapon against witchcraft and during which nearly all the witches of medieval Europe were exterminated.
In the end, the last remaining witches met to form a plan against the Inquisition and the Malleus Malleficarum. They managed to infiltrate the dungeons of a monastery in Northern Germany and steal a copy of the Malleus Malleficarum. After an exhaustive analysis, the 5 most powerfull bloodlines met in an akelarre (witches’ Sabbath meeting) around a bonfire where they invoked the spirits of the dead witches bent on vengeance. They concentrated all their power and hatred on the book, creating with their curse a dark, hateful creature which emerged from the flames in the form of a dark monk.
The curse of MalleficaruM was born to carry out the witches’ revenge.
MalleficaruM, as the creature was called by its creators, was sent on a mission to end the Inquisition, infiltrating monasteries and cathedrals, sliding through the shadows to bring death to monks and inquisitors. With each victim, MalleficaruM grew in strength and became more bloodthirsty to the point that it could not distinguish inquisitors from normal people and wanted only to kill more and become more powerful.
The Inquisition intervened and started a war against MalleficaruM and after many days of supernatural battle with spells and magic .MalleficaruM was injured and locked in the dungeon of a hidden monastery. The inquisitors swore to forget and never to mention the name of the creature; they burned all the documents referring to the curse and sent it to oblivion.
Decades passed and no one remember the curse of MalleficaruM. But an anonymous prophet proclaimed: “…when the five ancient bloodlines are reunited again, MalleficaruM will reemerge to recover his kingdom…”
Since no one remembered the curse, the prophet was deemed insane and crucified.
But he was not that crazy. In the year 2003, “Tsuspe” met “Jesus—El Traka” and together they began their journey through the music world wanting to imitate their idols. But one ill-fated night, Jesus died in a motorcycle accident. The blood shed by Jesus marks the before and after; MalleficaruM opens his eyes in his forgotten dungeon and senses that the moment is soon to come.
Tsuspe continues on his path as a guitarist, searching for the people to continue his quest but no one fits the bill. It is when the paths of “Puñales” (Voice) and Tsuspe cross, they know that something big is about to happen. They then join forces with “Roy” (Guitar) who has no doubts about joining the project. Together they continue the fight carried by a mystical force, composing to carry out this project. But still something is missing…as time passes “Danny Lamberg” (Bass) joins the group closely followed by "Nestor" (Drums) and with these two new members, the formation of the group is complete.
Together Tsuspe, Puñales, Roy, Danny Lamberg and Nestor each one coming from a diferent ancient bloodline as the prophecy presaged, MalleficaruM watched from his dungeon. This is the much-awaited moment of MalleficaruM to recover all his power and burst forth to return with his laugh of pain…
The prophecy was true: the curse of MALLEFICARUM now walks among us.

MALLEFICARUM
En 1486 dos monjes Dominicos Heinrich Kramer y ]acobus Sprenger escriben el Malleus Malleficarum. El mas famoso de todos los libros sobre brujeria. Abarcaba todos los poderes y practicas de los brujos, sus relaciones con el demonio, su descubrimiento... Era el manual de instruccion y justificacion de la cruzada contra la brujeria llevada a cabo por la Inquisicion.
Desde el momento que fue publicado y a lo largo de los proximos 3 siglos, fue la mayor arma de la inquisicion contra la brujeria, exterminando casi con toda la raza de brujos de la Europa medieval.
Esto llevo a que los ultimos brujos se reunieran para llevar a cabo un plan en contra de la inquisicion, y en contra del Malleus Malleficarum. Lograron infiltrarse en las mazmorras de un monasterio al norte de Alemania y robar un ejemplar del Malleus Malleficarum.
Tras analizarlo exhaustivamente, los 5 linajes mas antiguos y poderosos de brujos se reunieron en un aquelarre en torno a una hogera, donde invocaron a los espiritus de los brujos muertos, sedientos de venganza. Concentraron todo su poder y odio en el libro, creando un maleficio. Una criatura oscura y llena de odio, emergio de entre las llamas, en forma de un monje oscuro. El maleficio de MalleficaruM nacia para llevar a cabo la venganza de los brujos.
MalleficaruM, asi llamaron a la criatura sus creadores, tenia un cometido terminar con la inquisicion. Se infiltraba en los monasterios y catedrales, se deslizaba por las sombras para dar muerte a los monjes e inquisidores. Con cada victima MalleficaruM se hacia mas fuerte, y cuanto mas fuerte mas sed de sangre tenia, al punto que ya no distinguia entre inquisidores o personas normales, solo queria matar y tener mas poder.
La inquisicion tomo cartas en el asunto e inicio una guerra en contra de MalleficaruM, tras muchos dias de batalla sobrenatural de echizos, magia... consiguieron debilitar y encerrar a MalleficaruM en las mazmorras de un monasterio oculto. Juraron olvidar y no volver a nombrar el tema, quemaron todos los documentos referentes a la maldicion, cayendo esta en el olvido.
Pasaron decadas y nadie recordaba la maldicion de MalleficaruM. Pero un profeta anonimo hizo el siguiente presagio: “...cuando los 5 linajes se reunan otra vez, MalleficaruM resurgira para recuperar su reino...”. Dado que nadie recordaba la maldicion tomaron al profeta por loco y lo crucificaron.
Pero no estaba tan loco. En el año 2003 “Tsuspe” conoce a “Jesus - el Traka” juntos empiezan su andadura en el mundo de la musica queriendo imitar a sus idolos, pero una fatidica noche Jesus muere en un accidente de moto. La sangre derramada por Jesus marca un antes y un despues, MalleficaruM abre sus ojos en su olvidada mazmorra siente que el momento se hacerca.
Tsuspe continua su camino como guitarrista, buscando gente con la cual formar su truncado proyecto, pero nadie da la talla. Es cuando los caminos de “Puñales” (Voz)y Tsuspe se juntan, al conocerse saben que algo grande va a salir, unen sus fuerzas y dan con “Roy” (Guitarra) que no duda en incorporarse al proyecto. Juntos, continuan en el local luchando, movidos por una extraña fuerza, componiendo temas para sacar ese proyecto. Pero algo les falta....
Al cabo del tiempo “Danny Lamberg” (Bajo) se une al grupo seguido de cerca por “Nestor” (Bateria), estas dos incorporaciones terminan de dar forma al proyecto.
Tsuspe, Puñales, Roy, Danny Lamberg y Nestor cada uno proveniente de un linaje distinto tal cual contaba la profecia , MalleficaruM aguardaba este momento encerrado en esas mazmorras.
Este es el momento esperado MalleficaruM recupera todo su poder y resurje dispuesto a volver a instaurar su reido de dolor...
La profecia era cierta, la maldicion de MALLEFICARUM ya camina entre nosotros...
