We re two producers and we produce music since 2001.
Our roots are basicly Rapmusic (HipHop Culture) and Jazz.
In 2004 we meet two girls, Mdm.Malle and Mdm.Maison. We got the same musical roots and we also have the same conception about music. After a while we decided to form Malle.Maison! So Malle.Maison got four members:
Mdm.Malle, Mdm. Maison, Monsiuer Merdi aka. Monaco Franzen and Sebastien Tournier!
Sebastien Tournier and M.Merdi are mainly responsible for the production,
Malle and Maison are co-producers and singers! But it is our cooperation,
and our different musical background, that forms our style!
Born in the late seventies, grown up in the eighties and nineties influenced by music of our parents from the early discosound like Giorgio Moroder, Mike Chapman, Frank Farian or Kraftwerk over the Motown- and Phillysound (The Tamptations, Tramps, Supremes...) to the great sound of British Rockmusic á la
Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Queen or Supertramp. Get in touch with "Italo Disco", "Frenchpop" (Serge Gainsbourg, Julien Clerc, Vanessa Paradis...)"Britpop" (David Bowie, Pulp, Smiths, Oasis Paul Weller...) and "Neue Deutsche Welle" (Trio, Fehlfarben, Falco...) and the first Hip Hop tunes from Sugerhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash and Run DMC. In the early nineties starting to dig the first vinyls by Run DMC, NWA, Public Enemy, Gangstarr...Hip Hop Music was the first choice! In 1995 decided to start djing and making music. Meet Tournier and his love to Blue Note releases. Mixing classical Jazz tunes with Hip Hop beats, come in contact with names and releases of Armand van Helden, Westbam, MAW, Juan Atkinson, Carl Craig... also heared from a funny phenomenon, a party called "Loveparade". In the late ninties also diggin House tunes, and getting more interested in the electronic musicscene. Meet Maison and Malle, crazy girls with much love for disco and housemusic, and sharing the love to dig vinyl. After many nights having party, making and hearing music, drinking;) and discussions about all types of music, decided to create our own thing, what ends in forming Malle.Maison!
Now we re influenced by a lot of music genres and artists!
But we re also influenced by pornmovies and martial arts movies!
We love this stuff! The seventies disco scene did us also inspired, like the
classical Jazzmusic releases by Blue Note. And the Hip Hop scene in the nineties also influenced us, like the Techno-House scene across europe! Paris,London,Berlin! Don t worry, we don t forget about the big US community! Chicago,Detroit, N.Y. And we also don t forget about all other music styles, that we love to listen to! We re makin music just for fun and we deejay just for fun!
