About me:
MALLEUS is one of the most important and original reality of the European Poster-art scene of today, an artistic and graphic Rock devoted power-trio from Italy, working on everything concerning visual arts. Malleus has reached its natural expression creating handmade limited edition silkscreened posters for celebrating gigs and events, raising the visual side of Music to an Art level. Several of his works have been included in “The Art of Modern Rock”, the gig poster bible by Paul Grushkin and Dennis King. Malleus has realized posters for bands such as: Aphex Twin, Beck, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Blues Explosion, Brant Bjork, the Chemical Brothers, The Cure, Dresden Dolls, Fantomas, Flaming Lips, Iggy Pop & the Stooges, Mars Volta, Mogwai, Motorpsycho, Monster Magnet, Mark Lanegan, The Prodigy, Robert Plant, Sigur Ros, Sonic Youth, Sunn0))), Turbonegro, Ufomammut and many more...We draw, we paint, we silkscreen and we work on visuals, we do everything we love, swimming deeply into glittered inks.

“The Hammer of God” is structured in four main chapters, branching the artworks from the beginnings till today. Malleus' array of work includes numerous gig posters for rock bands, such as Antony, Aphex Twin, Blue Cheer, Beck, Blues Explosion, Brant Bjork, Chemical Brothers, The Cure, Current 93, Deftones, Dinosaur Jr, The Dresden Dolls, Down, Earth, The Flaming Lips, Iggy Pop & the Stooges, Incubus, Isis, Mark Lanegan, Liars, Linkin Park, The Mars Volta, The Melvins, Mogway, Motorpsycho, Monster Magnet, Mudhoney, Om, The Prodigy, Queens Of The Stone Age, Sex Pistols, Sigur Ros, Sonic Youth, and editorial illustrations, cd cover for a diverse group of clients.
