   About malonius
Hello. My name is Mike. I am the host of the longest running open mic night in the Washington DC area @ the Iota Club and Cafe in Arlington Va. The show starts at 8pm with a 30 minute set by Malonius (that's me). We have a featured artist that plays every week. Also, I play shows with my acoustic guitar and sometimes (but not always) with my electric guitar. Sometimes I play shows with my fractious four-piece band(but not always). Also, I play guitar and sing sometimes in The Glory And The Majesty.(link below) Also, I play bass and sing sometimes in The Moderate.(link below)

Hey Mike!

Our 7/4 party @ the Red and the Black made weekly picks by the Washington Post’s Going out Guru’s and Dcist! If you’re in town, we hope you’ll come by and if you’re not, we hope you’ll help spread the word to your friends who will be here :) It’s a Name Your Cover show – as in pay what you want to get in the door and that cash is going to some great non-prof organizations. The night kicks off with a cover song contest and then we’re opening up the dance floor with some great DJs. $3 rail drinks all night. Hope to see you there - we'll still be going long after the fireworks cool off!

Thanks for having me (and Rob) as your Feature act. You have a great thing going, we had a great time and would be happy to come back.

Also, let me know when you'd like to come back up to the Austin Grill, the door's open anytime.

Love the 3 songs, listened to them 3 times through...actually went right through Germantown..
