Music
Anything that doesn't suck, from alternative rock to classical. Not much into country, but appreciate anyone with a good sound and lyrics. Sometimes 80s pop makes me want to bang my head on a wall, tho. In my CD player now: Incubus, Alanis Morrissette, KD Lang, Peter Gabriel, Paul Simon, CSN&Y, Nirvana, Flaming Lips, Coldplay, NIN, Radiohead, Poe, A Perfect Circle, Bjork, Fiona Apple...
Here's a song from my chorale's 2006 Christmas concert. Yeah, it's not exactly seasonal, and the irony of posting a religious tune is not lost on me, but I think we sound pretty good for a community chorus. I'm one of those squeaking out the high notes!
LOTR, Favorite movie seen recently - "Kill Bill" - Vol. 1 especially! Loved the original Matrix, laughed thru the 2nd one. Thought "Secretary" was interesting. Bubba Ho-Tep defies description. Even liked "Dude, Where's My Car." Worst movie seen recently (well, the first 10 minutes, anyway) - "Charlie's Angels, Full Throttle" (I'd like to throttle the scriptwriter) Recent additions: Garden State, The Incredibles, Sideways, Pirates of the Caribbean - and I'm so very glad that Sith didn't suck!!
Television
OK - I admit it... addicted to Survivor. But my fave is 6 Feet Under. Frequent surfing stops: Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Star Trek reruns, Antiques Roadshow (don't ask me why), Will & Grace... huh - looks like I have a thing for gay guys... lol
Books
Mostly good fiction, from fantasy (read all the Harry Potter books), horror (read most Steven King books) to historical fiction. Um - good books I've read recently - "The Golden Compass" (thanks E!) "She's Come Undone" "Cold Mountain" For some reason one of my favorite books of all time is "Pillars of the Earth." Other freq. read authors - Anne Tyler, Anne Rice, Tolkein, Clive Barker... *New addition!* Nick Hornby makes me laugh out loud...

♪ “My horse and I rode through that white glow, my hat tipped down, her hoofs lifting up and out finding secure ground. We rode blind, no fence posts no signs, we stayed on the high ground, the creeks nine feet deep around the cedar tops we creep, where the blustery wind cut our ears making that blizzard sound. She was home with a wood burning stove and coffee heated under a fire my one desire, we couldn’t see smoke but we could tell, we were close to home the smoke we could smell. We had done our work through this bright glare, especially this young good mare. It was cold, but waiting at home was warmth, hay in the barn and my one and only, so we kept moving along. ” ♪

Happy Valentine’s Day may it be fantastic fun or for some may they dance to the beat of a different drum. If alone or with someone know that either way both feel the sun, both hear the music start. In magical moments take steps forward it's good for the heart.

I want you to know that you are amazing, and I appreciate your friendship greatly. If I don't get this back, I understand. But I have a game for you. Once you read this letter, you must send it to 15 people that you really care about, including the person that sent it to you. If you receive at least 7 back, then you are loved
♪ Hi Malove ~ Many blessings, it’s already a New Year and for the rest of nature they don’t care. They want their food and water, the cows, dogs, cats and even the mare. For wildlife the day is like any other, the hare, the hawk, roadrunner or coyote. For us we reflect we challenge the day, dream and hold that note. Music in the heart is sweet, not of any logic, but it’s a beat. ♪
i have seen everything you mentioned but not corfu. i would like to see it but it is so far away for a ferry ride with the dogs. we try to go 5 hours or less if we can. we did the overnight boat trip to santorini (9 hours) and it was a lot for them. but the trip was great! yes the islands are nice here. i would love to live on one!
