Due to computer troubles and a momentary lapse of attention in January 08, I lost
all the email addresses (and email) I've collected over the past year and a
half... dang! I thought I was backing it up... turns out I wasn't. Lesson learnt. So
if you haven't had
an eMal update for a while, let me know, love, Mal

And here's a bit of a blurb:
Vocal adventuring, multi-instrumental songwriter. Ballads, beatbox and beyond. A jolly jaw dropping journeyman. Eclectic, ebullient and even educational. Mal Webb uses a world of vocal techniques and writing styles and plays guitar, mbira, slide trumpet, chromatic harmonica, a loop recording pedal called Derek and the audience... a lot. A founding member of the Oxo Cubans, Sock and Totally Gourdgeous, he plays sometimes with The Cat Empire and Bomba and did the music for the Lano and Woodley TV show and Wogs Out of Work. Mal played mbira and sang "Eagle Rock" with Ross Wilson on John Safran's Music Jamboree on SBS. Ani DiFranco said "You're a freak!" after Mal played support for her. Mal has spent a lot of time mucking about.
Live looping impro "They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard"
Mal! I love your work, are you going to be at woodford this year? I was terribly upset when you announced at the troubadour last year that TG won't be there.
Hi Mal. Buttercup... Priceless!! Who played the rhodes solo? Love the richly layered BV's. Did the OXO guys play on this? A gorgeously understated pop song. Sorry for the interrogation, but this one has gotten under my skin like nothing else in the last ten years. A couple of Adelaide ex-pats will hopefully attend your gig(s) in Berlin in July. Thanks for the quirk. This is the stuff that feeds a musician's soul.
Hello Mr Mal Webb! just dropping by, to say hello.=] music is going well. havnt heard much of regina latly! lol. which is rly quite serpositary. xx hope you are well. Teegs.from grammar.
Yo mal! right i have a question, in your beatboxing video, what make footpedal are you using? i was thinking of linking one up to my sampler and messing around with it.

Hiya - just seen your bulletin, very pleased that you're playing Glasto again, me & my boyfriend stumbled accross one of your gigs there (small world tent I think?) & loved it, hopefully going to make it to the Sanctuary cafe gig too, as we live just up the road!
Hi Mal, I played my cover of URFES live-to-air the other day. As it was also live-online, it was listened to by the whole world! Well, at least in France by my friends and family... You (and anyone interested) can listen to it from a link on my profile (at the bottom of the "Sounds like" section) It sounds better than the little demo I sent you (and also a bit more rehearsed!) : ) xG.
Mal!!! hurray, I've finally found you.... not that i've been looking or anything.....
but yes. I can't make it to your performance tomorrow!!! it's horrible! i have a Yr 12 drama Rehearsal. Otherwise i'dn't've missed it. But crazy year 12 takes priority again. Oh well. I'll just have to wait till you get back. Cheers for accepting the add though. See you round. Charlie
