Los Angeles-based vocalist Malynda Hale consistently draws upon an extremely diverse musical background to create her own unique sound. As a child Malynda grew up singing Gospel music in church, while also performing Broadway musicals in school. Eventually, she would go on to graduate from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal performance en route to becoming a classically trained vocalist. Driven by a burning passion for music without boundaries, Malynda is continually inspired by her family, friends, mentors, and faith as she hones her talents as an extremely versatile vocalist, songwriter, and performer. The result of this fusion is a sound that combines rich soulful vocals, powerful lyrics, and edgy pop/rock music. A sound rarely heard today, harkening back to the very essence of rock, Malynda has taken the best aspects of all of her influences and created a sound all her own – A sound that grabs the hearer and takes them on an emotional journey.
As she makes her mark on the LA scene, Malynda is also actively touring the west coast. She made her Las Vegas Debut as the opening act for Tyrone Wells and Ernie Halter at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay and She also headlined the Mist Bar and Lounge at Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. She was featured in the Unsigned Artist Showcase on Westsidewill Radio and held spots for several weeks in the Top 20 on The Caneman Radio Show (1580 AM) in Los Angeles. Malynda was featured in Music Connection Magazine twice for her latest EP “No More Tears" and currently has music available on Nette Radio and Tune Us in Radio. She is also featured on RockFreeway.com and Soundcheckny.com. In the summer of 2008, she was asked to sing The National Anthem for the Los Angeles Sparks at The World Famous Staples Center in Los Angeles. Malynda is currently the co-owner and founder of Goldway Records a brand new Indie Record Label based out of Culver City as well as co-owner of Star-7 Music publishing. Through extensive touring, radio, and online promotion, Malynda is broadening her fan base by making her music truly accessible to all of her fans.

"Since I created this page I've always had a "bio" up but I figured, that doesn't let you know anything about me, it only lets you know the "accomplishments" I've made thus far as a performer. But I want to be connected with my fans and let you know that the reason 'Im going to be successful is because of your support! So here's a little about me...Music has always been in my opinion one of the things that God created that is just truly unbelievable. The way is connects people, the way it touches people, the way its used as a language, the way you can find any song in the world to describe exactly how you are feeling at any given time. In the past 16 years of my life I've known that I am suppose to share the gift of music (that I've been so graciously blessed with) with the rest of the world. How do I know this? Well I don't know it for a fact but it’s just a feeling I get every time I sing. I cant name how many times I've had the experience where someone has said to me after a performance "You made me cry" or "Your music really touches me" or " Why aren't you signed yet!"
