About me:

In 2003 Ylva Ek a.k.a Mama Gaia went to her first rave party ever, and fell in love.

Now just 5 years later She's traveling the world as a Dj, Party Organizer, Deco Artist and Festival Animal.

Located in Stockholm, Sweden, she started her career in the "Psyculture" in 2004 by founding the chill out/deco crew "Voodooism" also called "Voodoo Crew", with the vision of creating the most amazing chillouts ever made in Sweden. The concept was a success and with a mix of creative souls the chillouts became outstanding and other party organizers kept Voodooism busy from the start. Doing chilldeco on some of Stockholm's biggest events.

After making several chill outs, of course Mama Gaia couldn't keep her fingers away from the dj booth, and started her Dj career as an "Ambient/Dub Dj", And the bookings started right away.

After playing chillout sets at several parties she decided to take the dj'ing a step further, and move from the chillout to the dancefloor. Playing everything from psytrance to minimal, the bookings never stopped, and after a short while, she found herself in love with the "Progressive Trance" and has since then played "warm up" sets for artists like: Galactika, HuxFlux, Analog Pussy and Next/Midimal. And been bouncing behind the booth in both all over Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland.

In the beginning of 2007 she became one of the "resident Djs" at the club "Vardagsrummet" in Stockholm. Playing a more housish sound, but still progressive, with a hint of electro. She rocked the stage with artists like; Hertz, Elton D, Lemon 8 and many more...

Thanks to Vardagsrummet the three djanes n friends Mama Gaia, Emilia Mosquito and Ayda found each other on a whole new level, by playing "back 2 back" sets, and decided to start the dj collective PITCH STHLM. Together Pitch Sthlm play a knit of elektro, progressive house, tech house, techno and minimal, and brings it every time on stage!The energy between the girls is crazy. And the crowd feeds of the vibes.

In 2007, Mama Gaia and her friends got tired of what the Swedish psyscene had became, and started to organize their own parties instead. "UnderBraVidunder" (UBV) was borned with the first official party at "Kenny & Ylvas Birthday" 07. After that the parties are getting bigger n bigger, and better n better. With passion for the art the crew brings everything from massive stagedeco and visuals to super cozy chillouts with waffels and of course crazy lightning and sound with a doof. UBV is an "Non-Profit crew" , and will never ever create parties to make money. Everything that's plus after a party goes directly to buy new deco and such for the next event.
