Independent films and other movies that don't follow the typical Hollywood formula. I did like minority report, though it's not as good as the book and I can't stand Tom Cruise. About me: I love music, community and the environment. I am currently sitting on the board of directors at both Reach Studio Art Center and the Old Town Commercial Association. Also, I'm a bit of a smart ass so anything you read here should be taken with a grain of salt (followed by some Patron and a lemon).
I'm one of the proud owners of Mama Bear's. This is a new cafe located in Old Town at 1224 Turner St. One block north of Grand River on the east side of Turner. We are a great alternative to fast food. "Good Food, Fast!" We specialize in local, organic and fair trade products.
I change up my "top friends" a lot to feature cool local businesses or musicians to support as well as local people who make a difference in the community and new additions to the Mama Bear's friends list.
Who I'd like to meet: It's always good to meet people who enjoy intelligent discourse. I'd love to network with other local business owners.
