I enjoy going to movies and watching them at home, being on dates with my Husband and eating in restaurants. I like to read, do crosswords, play Scrabble and other word games. I like keeping in contact with family and friends on the computer through email, blogging Myspace and Xanga, instant messaging; I also like to write letters and send cards via 'snail mail'. I like to do crafts, draw, and crochet. I love to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and special occasions with my family, especially when we can learn about other cultures and their traditions in the process.
I like lots of different kinds of music...pop, oldies, rock 'n roll, contemporary and traditional Christian and old-time gospel, easy listening, some jazz/R&B, disco, folk music, classical, old and new country.

О себе: Wow, time sure flies when you're having fun! Here it is June already, summer vacation has offically begun and to kick it off we all went to see 'Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull' yesterday...and we LIKED IT! This month will be a busy one...my Sweetie and I will celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary on June 10, 2008 and Father's Day is after that with a fun day being planned for Mr.C. Plans are also in the works for Mr.C's 50th birthday party on July 12, 2008! For sure we'll have his Mom from Zapata, two sisters and their kids from CA and WA, and who know who else might make it to celebrate the BIG event with us. It IS summer so it is HOT here in east Texas but no 100 degree days yet, PTL! Karen is still working steady at the Dog's Day Inn and dating Bobby a marathon runner and triathlete who is participating in the Hawaii Ironman Competition on Kona in October; Karen is looking for good airfares so she can go to Hawaii with Bobby's family and cheer him on. Bubba is in the deli now at the Krogers so he has fewer 2AM shifts; he and Haskel will be taking HTML classes from their Dad this summer. We see Rex & Kristi pretty often; they will celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary on July 14, 2008 and both of them are in friend's weddings next month so they will be traveling to ND and OR the last three weeks of July. Rex got a new teaching/coaching job at Grace Presbyterian School this fall and he's pretty excited about starting there in August. Other then that, there isn't too much new going on here. I hope all of you are well and ready for a great summer! Don't forget to stop in and check on me once in a while, okay? You know I do the same for you!

I had a midwife appointment today and they seem to think that I might go a little further then Wednesday! I am ready for this baby to come out sooooo bad!
I know and I am soooo excited!!! All I can do in the meantime is pray that I don't go past my due date and that the baby is healthy and it's a safe delivery!
It'd be nice to have a boy! On the other hand it'd be fun to have another girl. We shall see within the month (hopefully I won't drag on into May) :) !
I wouldn't call it major trouble. If it was MAJOR trouble I'd never be allowed on myspace again. It's so nice to be back. The feel of computer keys under my fingers, and the endless wait for homepages to load. I can almost smell the cold sterile wires firing up. (sigh)
