I want them to know they don’t need permission to speak
Dare to be strong, don’t pretend to be weak

Yellow girls
That society wants to label exotic
They only want to see them as servants and martial arts sidekicks
They call them everything, even Oriental
All the prejudices they try and force on you can make you mental

And This Is For girls that have been called, “flatchested”
And This Is For girls who have been called, “fat girl”
And This Is For Lesbians
And This Is For women who have been raped, mistreated, and abused
Misunderstood, disrespected, and misused

And This Is For Harriet Tubman
And This Is For Sally Hemmings
And This Is For Sacagawea
