Their meaning goes all the way to the Creator thru our lord and Saviour Yeshua the messiah.
The father is Love,and Love is Charity,so when we give charity and love,
We are sharing the father within us with others.
The human view of charity is to give voluntarily to others in need.
That need could be physical,spiritual,mental,material.
The view that charity begins at home implies that if you can express Love and charity to the closest to you:
then it puts you in a better Position to help others outside the home.
So,if Love is lacking in the home,it is harder to express it outside the home.
We must not personalize love.
Love is the Most High,so it should flow freely to ALL men.
When we pick and choose who to help,and who not to help:
There exists unbalance!
