working on my first full length album with heather kirby and sandro perri. really excited about that. for now, you can buy my HANDMADE EP AT SOUNDSCAPES in Toronto. each case has a different image sewn onto it from a box of 1962 encyclopedias i found on my front porch. so you can learn something new (or old) and listen to me at the same time! i would love to send you one if you live far away from me.
I can finally listen to myspace again after so long...no flash player thing, anyway, your tracks sound great! I swear, are they new ones? Looking forward to the release :)
Playing at the Holy Oak sounds like a good plan. We have asked Justin about doing that with our pal Laura sometime this year, don't know what his policy is re having bands return, maybe wants to cycle it more, but a few months in between I can't see the harm.
We caught your show at Holy Oak on Friday. Really great set. Then we had to go at halftime, and forgot to put any money in the jug. It had nothing to do with the fact we're cheapskates. Anyhow thanks for the wonderful tunes.
lisa, we missed you this weekend! i have to say - i just heard no denial for the first time and it is absolutely stunning. took my breath away! love, love, love... m.
your ep... it opens up into the most lush, verdant places; it gives me chills. your performances are emotional and intelligent, and all the ornamental parts- pedal steel, horn, etc- are perfectly placed, fantastic.
