Mama Lü has started mixing in 2000. She discovered drum and bass while she was living in London (at the Camden Palace Club). Her story with drum and bass first started when she was organising drum and bass parties in Paris with the Macrobass crew (NB: dj Cerax).

Her first experiences with turntables were with techno music but she quickly got into mixing drum and bass as it sounds closer to her music references: Reggae, Ragga and Hip hop.
After some gigs all around France she met the Audiovenum crew (NB: La Pieuvre,Francky Brown,Dj Monolythe,Ziloub...). She became a member of this crew and often played in Paris alongside many renowned dj's as Brusco, Science, Sweed, Circle K, Raiden, Cliff barnes, Miss Ficel, Dj A.Lor, Mousschemist, Anakyne, Otis... at venues like Glaz'art, Batofar or Tryptique where she had a residence with Audiovenum crew during two years.
She's often playing in France but she's also been booked several times in Germany (Schilli Club - Ulm) with Dj Riddley and mc Syndicate, in Freiburg at the Mo'Fire Parties with Miss drop, a vocalist who is collaborating with many international artists of the d'n'b scene, for example with FX909.

She hasn't got a particular drum'n'bass style, the most important for her is to keep the dancefloor on fire... She likes making liquid funk sets with Miss Drop as a special host but also ragga-jungle or rolling fat bass.
She loves producers like: Fx909, Alix Perez, Syncopix, Electro Soul System, Matrix and Future Bound, State of Mind, Total Science... ... CHECK ALSO
